John Rose, the revered stud supervisor, breeder and producer died on 27 August aged 77.
John spent his early years in France working for Jean-Paul Guerlain, together with his spouse Daybreak, transferring again to the UK in 1979. The couple had been an ideal partnership with complementary expertise and information.
John labored at Catherston Stud for Jennie Loriston-Clare from 1979 to 1984 as assistant stud supervisor, then moved to Warwickshire School to be stud supervisor and a course tutor to equine college students till 1988.
