A latest report has revealed a grim actuality: over 400,000 songbirds have been trapped and slaughtered in Cyprus throughout the autumn of 2023, marking a distressing surge in wildlife crime. The findings, compiled by BirdLife Cyprus with Assist from the RSPB and the Committee Towards Birds Slaughter (Cabs), make clear an ongoing difficulty that threatens the area’s avian inhabitants.
