A Clydesdale horse, described as a “big skeleton” and located “ravenous to demise”, has made a full restoration – and been rehomed again to his native nation.

World Horse Welfare rescued 15-year-old gelding Seamus when he was found in a hillside subject with no grass. A spokesman for the charity stated he was “so starved that it was contact and go as as to whether he would survive”.
